Jana and I wanted to take the time to thank you.  We know how the property has risen in the last two years, but that isn't why I'm writing you.  I am writing you because we are so grateful for calling you and allowing you to be our realtor.  We have bought and sold four homes before we had the pleasure to meet you.  We love our home and sometimes wonder what would have happened if we didn't make that call.  We would love for you to stop by and see the changes we have made to the house.  As you know we have a family member in your line of work, but she couldn't match your level of service.  Please feel free to stop by or call anytime.

Dear Ty:

Lisa and I wanted to thank you for all of your help during the sale of our home.  We are very happy we followed my brother's recommendation.

Thanks for keeping us informed during the entire process, and for making everything so easy.  Also, thanks for the gift certificate.  It will come in handy once our home in Henderson is built. 

I'll let you know once I'm set up at one of the restaurants on the strip.  Then, next time you're down that way, I'll invite you in for a meal.
